TERMS OF LIMITED GUARANTEE FOR SIMO SECURON ZETA NOVA & SIMO SECURON ALPHA

1.Guarantee Coverage

SIMO Screens Private Limited (“SIMO”) guarantees to the original purchaser (“Purchaser”) that its SIMO Securon Alpha will be free from defects in material and workmanship resulting in wire breakage due to red rust for a period of 20 years from the date of purchase (invoice date), subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions specified herein (“SIMO Securon Alpha Limited Guarantee”).

 

SIMO guarantees to the Purchaser that its SIMO Securon Zeta Nova will be free from defects in material and workmanship resulting in wire breakage due to red rust for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase (invoice date), subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions specified herein (“SIMO Securon Zeta Nova Limited Guarantee”).

 

(hereinafter, SIMO Securon Alpha Limited Guarantee and SIMO Securon Zeta Nova Limited Guarantee are referred to as “Guarantee” and SIMO Securon Alpha and SIMO Securon Zeta Nova are referred to as “Product”)

2.Eligibility

This Guarantee extends only to the Purchaser who has:

  • Purchased the Product from an authorized SIMO dealer or distributor (“Authorized Provider”).

  • Registered the Product on the SIMO’s official registration platform for the Guarantee on www.simosecuron.com (“Guarantee Platform”) within 30 days of date of invoice proving purchase of the Product from an Authorized Provider.

3. Conditions For Validity

The Guarantee is valid only if the following instructions are strictly adhered to:

  • Product has not suffered hard impact or contact with sharp tools during installation or maintenance.

  • Product was stored in a closed, dry environment before installation.

  • Product has been installed with the help of professionals only and, in accordance with guidance issued by SIMO.

  • No parts of the posts or channels which come in contact with the Product are rusted.

4. Exclusions

This Guarantee does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear of the Product.

  • Misuse, abuse, or installation not following SIMO's guidelines.

  • Damage caused by natural disasters, chemicals, industrial use, or acts of God.

  • Products installed within 20 kilometers of the coast or in corrosive environments.

  • Damage sustained during transportation or storage by the purchaser.

  • Product in contact with fertilizers or other chemicals before or after installation.

  • Products welded or jointed before or after installation.

  • Failure to maintain the fencing as per SIMO’s recommendations.

5. Limitations Of Liability

The Guarantee is valid only if the following instructions are strictly adhered to:

  • Product has not suffered hard impact or contact with sharp tools during installation or maintenance.

  • Product was stored in a closed, dry environment before installation.

  • Product has been installed with the help of professionals only and, in accordance with guidance issued by SIMO.

  • No parts of the posts or channels which come in contact with the Product are rusted.

 6. Claim Process

To make a claim under this Guarantee:

  • Submit a copy of the original purchase invoice.

  • Provide proof of registration on the Guarantee Platform.

  • Detail the complaint, supported by photographic evidence.

  • File the claim within 30 days of the defect occurring.

 

Claims can be submitted via email or post to the address provided on the SIMO website.

7. Installations & Maintenance Guidelines 

  • Maintain recommended post spacing and secure fencing as per SIMO's specifications below.

  • Post specifications:

  1. MS angle posts: 50mm × 50mm × 6mm minimum for regular spans; 65mm × 65mm × 6mm for terminals.

  2. Concrete columns: 150mm × 150mm minimum made with high grade concrete.

  3. Post height: Fence height plus 50cm minimum for concrete foundation.

  • Installation arrangements:

 

  1. Start/End points (Terminal posts):

    • Requires bracing assembly with diagonal struts at 45° angle;

    • Additional horizontal stay between main post and first supporting post; and,

    • Concrete foundation minimum 45cm × 45cm × 75cm deep.
       

  2. Corner posts (Change in direction):

    • Bracing in both directions; and, Larger foundation (60cm × 60cm × 75cm deep).
       

  3. Fixing method:

    • Pole gap of 5m to 6m (as opposed to 2.5m followed for chain link fencing);

    • Tension wire grips for horizontal line wires;

    • Staples or clips for vertical stays; and,

    • Wire tensioners at terminal posts.

 

  • Ensure concrete bases are fully cured before applying tension.

  • Use gravel or crushed stone as a base for postholes where necessary.

  • Adhere to SIMO’s safety and installation instructions for best results.​

 8. Registration

The Product must be registered within 30 days of purchase at the Guarantee Platform to activate the Guarantee.

9. Modification & Termination

  • SIMO reserves the right to modify or terminate this Guarantee without prior notice, provided that such changes do not affect Products purchased and registered before the date of modification or termination.

  • By using the Product, the Purchaser acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined in this Guarantee.
