Fencing supply and installation, or turnkey EPC

SIMO Securon offers fencing supply and installation of its Q-Knot™ fixed knot fence on three terms: supply only, with training for your contractor's site staff; supply and install by its own trained crews; or turnkey EPC, from site survey and design to inspection and handover. It also prepares layouts and bills of quantities (BOQ).

Fencing supply and installation, or turnkey EPC: which suits your site?

Three ways to work with us.

  • Fence rolls, a bundle of angle posts and a delivery truck: SIMO Securon supplies the matched system and your contractor installs it.

    Supply only

Fence and QvikFixrr™ posts and fittings as one matched system. Your contractor installs, and we can train the team.

SuitsBuyers with a trusted contractor, or tenders that let installation separately

    Train your own installers

  • A perimeter drawing, a survey instrument and a handover checklist: SIMO Securon runs the site survey, engineering design, supply, installation, inspection and handover.

    Turnkey EPC

Site survey, engineering design to agreed drawings, full supply, installation, inspection, and handover with documentation.

What the trainer covers

  • Tensioning
  • Bracing
  • Fixing

An on-site trainer works alongside your site staff, with instructional videos to return to: offered with supply-only orders and to our partners’ installation teams. Fixed knot fence installation guide

What does the trainer cover on site?

With a supply-only order, and for its partners’ installation teams, SIMO Securon sends an on-site trainer: a person who works alongside your contractor’s or partner’s staff on the three things a high tensile fence depends on. The training is backed by instructional videos the team can go back to after the trainer has left.

  • Tensioning: bringing every line wire to the same installed tension, 0.8 kN (about 80 kgf), checked with a wire tension meter, without pulling the crimps flat.
  • Bracing: terminal and corner assemblies with a diagonal strut at 45 degrees and a horizontal stay, on foundations 75 cm deep, and gate posts set as terminals.
  • Fixing: clips at every post, splice-and-twist joins between rolls, ends tied off, and toppings mounted on the post attachments.

Every step is in the fixed knot fence installation guide, and the installation manual is in the downloads at the foot of this page. Ask for a trainer with your RFQ, or on WhatsApp.

More about fencing supply and installation

What fencing services does SIMO Securon offer?

One partner for the whole perimeter, from design to handover.

  • Design engineering support: your site, threat and required life turned into a fence design and agreed drawings: grade, grid, height, posts, foundations and toppings.
  • Fabrication and supply: fence fabric made at our works in MIDC Butibori, Nagpur; QvikFixrr posts supplied hot-dip galvanised or epoxy coated, with matching clips and fittings; custom posts made to your drawing on orders of 2 km and above.
  • Fence layout and construction planning: survey, alignment, post positions, corners and gates, and a construction sequence your contractor or our crews can follow.
  • BOQ generation: a bill of quantities from the drawing: rolls, posts, clips, fittings, toppings and tools, ready for your RFQ or tender. Work out quantities in the estimator.
  • Perimeter sensors: perimeter sensors alongside the fence, planned to suit your site.
  • Execution support and other project services: installation by our trained crews, supervision and training for your contractor, inspection, and handover with documentation.

Every project starts by choosing how much of the job you want us to take on. Fencing a farm, plot or farmhouse? Supply and install suits most small sites too: see farm fencing and plot boundary fencing.

What does SIMO Securon supply with the fence?

Every supply comes as one matched system: the knotted fence with QvikFixrr posts, clips, fabric locks and fasteners, because a fence is only as strong as its weakest connection. Where the threat is people, RTHT™ barbed wire and concertina coil sit on the post attachments above the fabric, and the ZS-Knot™ 4 x 2 inch anti-climb grid takes the place of Q-Knot: see industrial fencing. The QvikFixrr range also includes installation tools and made-to-order chain link.

Because posts stand 5 to 6 metres apart, a SIMO Securon fence needs around half the posts of conventional galvanised chain link, with less excavation and concrete, and installs about 40 percent faster. For solar, industrial and EPC projects, the installed cost is in line with conventional galvanised chain link, with a longer rated life.

Where does SIMO Securon install fencing?

SIMO Securon installs fencing anywhere in India: once an order is confirmed, it arranges a crew for the site. It works from its head office and factory in Nagpur and offices in Ahmedabad, Pune and Mumbai, open by appointment only, and serves sites in and around Jaipur, Rajkot, Delhi, Lucknow, Bhopal, Kolkata, Patna and Ranchi. Send your site PIN code with your RFQ and we will confirm, or see fencing contractor for how an installation runs. The fence is made at the company’s works in MIDC Butibori, Nagpur; SIMO WiroTEK’s production capacity is 28,500 MT per annum. Phone numbers and addresses are on the contact page.

Who has SIMO Securon supplied, and how is the fence tested?

SIMO Securon’s private sector clients include Megha Engineering (supply exceeding 100 km), CleanMax, ENGIE, Solar Defence and Aerospace, and railway contractors: see company facts. SIMO WiroTEK is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 (certifications), every grade is tested at NABL-accredited laboratories (quality and testing), and the fence is manufactured at our works in MIDC Butibori, Nagpur (about us).

FAQ

Fencing supply and installation questions

What should a project RFQ include?

The site location and PIN code, the drawings or boundary length, what the fence must keep out, the height, how long it must last, and whether you need supply only, supply and install or turnkey EPC. Add the tender specification or BOQ if you have one.

Can you work with our own contractor?

Yes: on a supply-only order, SIMO Securon supplies the matched fence, posts and fittings, and can send a trainer to work alongside your contractor's team on tensioning, bracing and fixing, backed by instructional videos.

Can you prepare a bill of quantities for our tender?

Yes. Send the drawing or the boundary length, and SIMO Securon prepares a bill of quantities: rolls, posts, clips, fittings, toppings and tools, ready for your RFQ or tender. For a tender it also provides the specification, NABL-accredited laboratory test reports, a trial panel and works inspection.

What are the lead times for a fencing project?

About 7 days for standard rolls and 30 to 45 days for custom projects, from order confirmation.

Do you install fencing for farms and plots, or only for large projects?

Both. SIMO Securon recommends supply and install to most customers, farms and plots included, because correct installation is the main condition for a fence to reach its rated life. For a farm, plot or farmhouse, start with the fencing cost estimator: it works out the posts and rolls, and the team sends the price on WhatsApp.
