More about SIMO Securon

Who is SIMO Securon?

SIMO Securon is the perimeter security and knotted fencing division of SIMO WiroTEK Private Limited, a Nagpur manufacturer of precision wire products with two brands: SIMO Securon, for high tensile knotted fencing and perimeter security, and SIMO Screens, for wedge wire screens and industrial filtration. The corporate line is Unlocking Possibilities: giving buyers a better option than the compromises they have been offered until now.

The company was established in 2023. It is led by a team with over 30 years of manufacturing experience, drawn in particular from senior roles at Gujarat Wedge Wire Screens Limited, and supported by professionals in engineering, production, quality assurance and customer service.

What is in the SIMO Securon range?

Who buys from SIMO Securon?

SIMO Securon sells to people protecting land and to companies protecting assets, directly and through authorised dealers.

  • Farmers losing crops to nilgai and wild boar, and plot and farmhouse owners weighing up a compound wall, buy a fence that keeps animals out and lasts: see farm fencing and plot boundary fencing.
  • Solar developers and EPCs, factories, warehouses and data centres buy a perimeter on around half the posts of conventional galvanised chain link, with test documentation for the specification: see solar plant fencing and industrial fencing.
  • Dealers and distributors sell it as authorised partners: see become a dealer.

Why a knotted fence instead of chain link or a wall?

A high tensile knotted fence is the third option between conventional galvanised chain link and a wall. Chain link costs little at the outset but corrodes in 2 to 5 years. A precast or masonry wall lasts, but it means heavy civil work and a long build. Against conventional galvanised chain link, SIMO Securon Q-Knot wire is up to three times stronger in Alpha and Zeta Nova, the fence needs a post only every 5 to 6 metres, and with a rated life of 10 years (Pi) to 35 years or more (Alpha) it is more cost effective over its life. Against a wall, it has equivalent strength and goes up twice as fast. Where privacy is the real need, we will tell you a wall is the right answer. The full comparisons are in knotted fence vs chain link and compound wall vs fencing.
