Fencing contractor in Rajasthan: farm fencing and solar park perimeters

In Rajasthan, stray bulls, wild boar and nilgai now raid the same fields, and its tarbandi scheme helps farmers fence them. As a fencing contractor in Rajasthan, SIMO Securon's crews install fixed knot fence anywhere in the state once an order is confirmed, from eastern farms to solar parks in Jodhpur, Bikaner and Jaisalmer. The fence is made in Nagpur.

Fencing contractor in Rajasthan: installed anywhere in the state

The fence travels from the works in Nagpur, and a trained crew is arranged for your field or site once you order. Apply for the tarbandi scheme and wait for its sanction before the fence goes up: the department geotags the site before and after fencing.

About 7 days for standard rolls and 30 to 45 days for custom projects, from order confirmation.

More about fencing in Rajasthan

What damages crops in Rajasthan?

Farmers across Rajasthan told Down To Earth in June 2026 that stray bulls, wild boars, nilgai (blue bull), camels and donkeys are damaging their crops, and that in eastern Rajasthan herds of bulls and wild boars can destroy 70 to 80 percent of a field in a single night. The 2012 Livestock Census counted 946,050 stray cattle in Rajasthan, second only to Uttar Pradesh.

Stray bulls lean on a fence until it gives, and wild boars push under it, so a field fence in Rajasthan has to be stiff, tall and tight at ground level. SIMO Securon’s suggestion is a 6 ft Q-Knot™ fixed knot fence in Zeta Nova or Alpha, with every corner and end post braced in concrete. See the stray cattle fence guide.

The same report describes chinkara and blackbuck dying in field fencing, and says the Rajasthan Animal Welfare Board treats electric current or sharp, blade-like wires in field fencing as a serious offence. Check the rules with your agriculture or forest office before you add barbed wire or a bladed topping to a farm fence.

Which solar parks and industrial areas are in Rajasthan?

  • Solar parks. On 28 February 2025, Rajasthan had ten parks sanctioned under the national Solar Parks Scheme, 10,276 MW in all: Bhadla II, III and IV in Jodhpur; Phalodi-Pokaran; Fatehgarh 1B, Nokh and Bodana in Jaisalmer; and Pugal I and II and the RVUN park in Bikaner. The Bhadla park alone spreads across nearly 5,700 hectares. On perimeters that long, needing around half the posts of conventional galvanised chain link saves a great deal of digging and concrete. SIMO Securon suggests a 6 ft Q-Knot fence for solar sites, with the ZS-Knot™ 4 x 2 inch anti-climb fence where people are the threat. See solar plant fencing.
  • Industry. The Government of India gave the go-ahead to the Jodhpur-Pali-Marwar Industrial Area under the National Industrial Corridor Programme in August 2024. For factory boundaries, see industrial fencing.

These suggestions are a starting point for discussion, not for construction; every fence is built to its agreed drawing.

Does Rajasthan's dry climate change the fence?

Rajasthan has no coastline, so the coastal exception to SIMO Securon’s rated life does not arise here. Chemically aggressive sites are the exception that remains: a fence beside a chemical works or a fertiliser store needs a site-specific recommendation. Keep fertilisers off any fence line. The basis of the rated life is set out under how rated life is calculated.

Which farm fencing scheme runs in Rajasthan?

Rajasthan's Khet ki Tarbandi (Kantedar Tarbandi Yojana) pays a share of the cost of fencing round a farmer's fields, up to a cap per farmer, with a larger share for small and marginal farmers and for groups of farmers who fence together; you apply on Raj Kisan Saathi. See the figures and the official source.

SIMO Securon does not run these schemes and cannot confirm your eligibility. Many schemes name barbed wire or solar fencing as the fence they pay for, so ask the officer, before you buy, whether a knotted fence qualifies; SIMO Securon can give a quotation and invoice in the form the officer asks for.

Which fence keeps stray bulls out of a field?

A stiff fence at least 6 ft high that cattle cannot lean down. SIMO Securon suggests a 6 ft Q-Knot fixed knot fence in Zeta Nova or Alpha, with braced corner and end posts, which also keeps the lowest wires close together against wild boar.
