Fencing contractor in Gujarat: fences for farms, Kutch solar parks and GIDC estates

As a fencing contractor in Gujarat, SIMO Securon's crews install fixed knot fence anywhere in the state once an order is confirmed: against nilgai and wild boar on Saurashtra and north Gujarat farms, round renewable energy parks in Kutch and Banaskantha, and round GIDC factories. Its Ahmedabad office, on SG Highway, opens by appointment; the fence is made in Nagpur.

More about fencing in Gujarat

Which animals damage crops in Gujarat?

Nilgai (blue bull; rojda or roz in some states) are a major problem. A 2026 study of farms near Junagadh estimated annual crop destruction by nilgai at 63 percent, and found them particularly damaging to groundnut. Wild boar are a complaint too: in October 2026 farmers at Dabhoda in Gandhinagar district reported herds raiding their fields. The forest department’s 2024 wild ass census in the Rann districts also counted 2,734 nilgai and 915 wild boar.

Against both, SIMO Securon suggests a 6 ft Q-Knot fixed knot fence in Zeta Nova or Alpha: high enough for nilgai, and on the graduated grid its lowest wires sit close together where wild boar push. See farm fencing.

Which sites in Gujarat need perimeter fencing?

  • Renewable energy parks. Gujarat had seven parks sanctioned under the national Solar Parks Scheme on 28 February 2025, 12,150 MW in all: Radhnesada in Banaskantha (700 MW), Dholera in Ahmedabad district (1,000 MW), and the NTPC, GSECL and GIPCL renewable energy parks in Kutch. The hybrid renewable energy park near Vighakot in Kutch is planned for 30 GW. For long solar perimeters, SIMO Securon suggests a 6 ft Q-Knot fence with RTHT™ barbed wire against animals, and the ZS-Knot™ 4 x 2 inch anti-climb fence where intruders are the risk: see solar plant fencing.
  • Industrial estates and Dholera. GIDC runs 239 industrial estates across the state, and the Dholera Special Investment Region, 100 km southwest of Ahmedabad, is a greenfield industrial city on the Delhi-Mumbai corridor. For factory and warehouse boundaries the suggestion is the ZS-Knot 4 x 2 in Alpha with RTHT and concertina coil: see industrial fencing.

The designs above are a starting point for discussion, not for construction; each site is built to its agreed drawing.

Gujarat's coast: when do you need a site-specific recommendation?

Gujarat has the longest coastline of any state, reassessed in 2025 at 2,340.62 km. The fisheries census counts 15 coastal districts: Valsad, Navsari, Surat, Bharuch, Anand, Ahmedabad, Bhavnagar, Amreli, Gir Somnath, Junagadh, Porbandar, Devbhumi Dwarka, Jamnagar, Morbi and Kutch. In those districts, any site within 20 km of the sea needs a site-specific recommendation before ordering, as do chemically aggressive sites inland; how rated life is calculated explains why.

Does Gujarat pay towards farm fencing?

Gujarat's wire fencing scheme for crop protection pays part of the cost of wire fencing round a farm, per running metre and only once per farmer, for farmers who fence as a cluster; you apply on i-Khedut, where the current rate is published. See the figures and the official source.

Gujarat also helps with the solar power unit of a solar-powered electric fence, once in ten years, for farmers who have not taken the wire fencing assistance. See the figures and the official source.

SIMO Securon does not run these schemes and cannot confirm your eligibility. Many schemes name barbed wire or solar fencing as the fence they pay for, so ask the officer, before you buy, whether a knotted fence qualifies; SIMO Securon can give a quotation and invoice in the form the officer asks for.

FAQ

Fencing in Gujarat: questions

Can I meet SIMO Securon in Ahmedabad?

Yes, by appointment, at the Ahmedabad office in the Westgate Building on SG Highway. Call first to fix a time: Ahmedabad: B 1801, 18th floor, Westgate Building, near YMCA Club, SG Highway, Ahmedabad 380015 (by appointment only), +91 93562 02977. The fence is made at the works in Nagpur and delivered to your site.

Which fence stops nilgai (rojda) on a Gujarat farm?

Nilgai need a fence at least 6 ft high that will not sag. SIMO Securon suggests a 6 ft Q-Knot fixed knot fence in Zeta Nova or Alpha, which also keeps the bottom wires close together against wild boar. Tell the team which animals you face, and the design is confirmed for your farm.

Nilgai and wild boar fencing

My farm is near the sea in Saurashtra. Which fence should I use?

Ask for a site-specific recommendation before you order. Within 20 km of the coast the air is more corrosive than the conditions SIMO Securon's rated life assumes, so the grade and the posts are chosen for your site.

Fencing land in Gujarat?

Send the district and PIN code, your boundary length and the animals or intruders you face. We confirm the design and arrange the installation crew once you order.
